Elayne Simoes - Pinto and Jeu Rehaen

During my childhood and puberty my first dog was a malinois and then a bouvier with both I, at least I tried, did KNPV. My next dog was a German shepherd, from the animal shelter in Sittard, this dog gave me such pleasure that I wanted to do something different, but what…? During those days there was no “VDH Kringgroup” in South Limburg and no one had any idea of how it worked.

My brother Chris suddenly had the idea to start such group, which was realized together with Mr. de Bruin, Mr. Snels, Chris and Jeu Rehaen.

Welcome guest was Mr. Max van Aubel.

About the beginning of the “VDH Kringgroup” in South Limburg we refer to the VHD Magazine of December 2007.

My role was instructor and helper.  Our first “ VH” exam was in the fall of 1968 with Mr. Brauweiler from Cologne as judge. This was also the first Körung of Zuchtwert with Mr. Max van Aubel.
